The requested solution is a cloud-based, web-enabled jury management system capable of supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of federal jury operations. The system should facilitate juror summonsing, qualification, check-in, and management of juror information while providing robust integration with court proceedings and existing court technologies.
Security is paramount, as the system must safeguard sensitive juror personally identifiable information (PII) and conform to federal best practices for cloud security and identity management. The platform will feature restricted access for authorized court personnel, as well as a public-facing online portal enabling individuals to complete forms, submit postponement or excusal requests, and upload relevant documentation.
Operational efficiency is enhanced by integration with approximately 99 document scanners deployed nationwide, supporting high-volume processing of juror forms and correspondence. Additional features should include multi-channel communication—such as interactive voice response (IVR), email, SMS/text messaging, and mobile device compatibility—and will cover pool, panel, and attendance management, online engagement throughout the jury lifecycle, as well as proactive system monitoring and rapid recovery mechanisms.
