The State of Arizona is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive web-based hydrologic information portal solution. The scope of services includes automating data updates, integrating new and existing data sources, updating API endpoints, and maintaining current datasets. The vendor will also provide quarterly user statistics summaries using Google Analytics data and will facilitate updates to data layers and services as requested.
New feature development is expected, including the creation of new data layers and services—limited to fewer than four annually, based on budget considerations. All deployments and additions will be carried out through QA, staging, and production environments, with a focus on user interface and accessibility improvements. Rigorous testing of new features and ongoing assessment of technologies to streamline deployment and minimize downtime are also required.
Operational support is essential, involving the maintenance of current application layers, prompt bug fixes, and resolution of production errors, including those relating to server and cloud infrastructure. Regular back-end code maintenance, infrastructure instance management, and scheduled data backups are necessary. All source code must be maintained in GitHub throughout the engagement.
