The state of Florida is seeking a vendor to provide a web-based platform dedicated to health insurance discovery and eligibility verification. The platform should offer an integrated workflow that streamlines both manual and automated insurance discovery processes, ensuring real-time eligibility verification for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payers. For self-pay, uninsured, or clients with unknown insurance status, the solution must utilize real-time queries of national databases to search for both primary and secondary health insurance coverage.
Key requirements include robust API integration capabilities with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, as well as support and assistance for API development with other software solutions. An app or interface enabling seamless, in-EHR access to the vendor platform is also desired. The system should feature a cloud-based portal allowing users to perform on-demand eligibility checks and insurance discovery, and automate discovery during initial eligibility screening or at the point of application.
The contract period for this platform will be five years. All interested vendors should note that questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by December 30, 2025.
