DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a web-based English Language Arts (ELA) assessment and instruction program solution for students in grades K–8. The required solution must be an online, vendor-hosted, computer-adapted diagnostic assessment that evaluates students’ proficiency on specific grade-level standards. Integrated assessments should measure proficiency and provide actionable data to support instruction tailored to student needs.

The solution should include interactive, differentiated online ELA instruction, and automated, customizable individual learning progressions, supported by computer-assisted instruction. Additional instructional materials and activities must be assigned based on skill progression and provide point-of-use support. Instructional content should focus on foundational reading skills for grades K–2, and on reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, speaking, and writing for grades K–5, with opportunities for scaffolding conceptual understanding.

A user-friendly reporting system is essential, offering easy-to-read reports with standard and flexible performance bands and growth targets. The platform must support Response to Intervention (RTI) progress monitoring requirements, ensure compatibility with Chromebooks, iPads, and Windows-based desktops, and provide a fully integrated assessment, instruction, and reporting system with multi-level security and permissions for administrators, staff, and students.
