DESCRIPTION


The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a modern, web-based energy management solution delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS). This solution must enable the development and measurement of energy efficiency initiatives, offering robust tools and reporting capabilities to track and assess the effectiveness of these strategies at both facility and board levels. In addition, it should support evidence-based capital investment decisions, utilizing data-driven insights to help prioritize funding toward high-impact, energy-efficient equipment and retrofits.

The provider will also be responsible for hosting and administering the solution. The system must ensure an intuitive, accessible user experience across multiple devices, platforms, and browsers, including strong security and performance safeguards. Features required include role-based access and account management, centralized data entry for school information, and integration within the education sector to allow users to search and view relevant data.

Furthermore, the solution must maintain a visually accessible layout that meets Accessibility standards and supports ease of use. Vendors are expected to implement and sustain architectural, operational, and procedural safeguards for long-term system growth, business continuity, data protection, and disaster recovery. The platform should also be capable of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI technologies for predictive analytics, automation, and intelligent insights as they become available.
