SUMMARY

The VA is seeking providers for secure, web-based survey and questionnaire hosting services to support remote assessment of Gulf War Veterans for national research studies under Project IN DEPTH.

DESCRIPTION

The War Related Illness and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) at the Washington DC VA Medical Center, along with Miami VA Healthcare System and Palo Alto VA Healthcare System, seeks sources for web-based survey and questionnaire hosting services to support Project IN DEPTH (VA–NIH Collaboration Recruitment to NIH Intramural Clinical Services, IRB #20–34). The services are required to efficiently screen and evaluate Gulf War Veterans nationwide to determine eligibility for further VA and NIH research participation.

The solution must allow research participants to remotely complete a series of validated surveys and questionnaires from any location, providing flexible access and reducing travel burdens on Veterans. The platform should align with VA Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements for Software as a Service (SaaS) providers. These remote capabilities aim to ensure inclusivity, safety, and convenience for research participants, including those in remote areas and those experiencing chronic symptoms. Interested vendors are requested to provide documentation of technical expertise relevant to the requirements and to submit a capability statement, including company details and examples of similar contracts.
