The selected vendor will provide expert wayfinding signage consultation services to establish a consistent, accessible, and user-focused wayfinding and signage system across all township facilities. The consultant will conduct a thorough review and assessment of current signage, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations that reflect industry best practices in signage design, placement, messaging hierarchy, and user-centered communication.
Key responsibilities include advancing accessibility and inclusion by recommending appropriate use of braille, tactile elements, contrast, legibility standards, and universal design principles. The consultant will deliver a cohesive framework that maintains visual and functional consistency, operational efficiency, and long-term standardization throughout township sites. Standardized, universal templates for signage will be developed, as well as site-specific actionable recommendations supported by visual examples and thorough assessments.
The contract will be awarded for a one-year period.
