The government authority in Columbus, Ohio seeks professional consulting firms to prepare a revised and updated watershed master plan. The selected vendor will develop a comprehensive draft study report that includes an executive summary, detailed figures, charts, and relevant analysis.
Key responsibilities include conducting a gap analysis of current source water protection efforts, with benchmarking against comparable programs nationwide, specifically referencing current or past AWWA exemplary source water awardees. The firm will be expected to perform quality assurance and quality control activities in line with their internal policies, and may participate in the review and development of time of travel mapping technologies for pollutant tracking.
Consultants will guide future source water protection initiatives, synthesizing and evaluating newly available water quality and quantity data. The resulting study report will be updated based on stakeholder comments and feedback, and will include benchmarking, gap analysis, strategic planning, and actionable recommendations.
