A government authority in St. Lucie, Florida, is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide comprehensive watershed analysis and design services. The selected firm will support efforts that include stormwater management ponds, piped interconnections between sub-basins, re-grading of select canals, installation of a pump station, implementation of backflow prevention devices at canal outfalls, and raising low roadway sections near the specified intersection.
The scope of work encompasses preliminary surveying for stormwater and drainage analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, pollutant load reduction modeling, and preparation of a comprehensive analysis report. Additional services include developing conceptual plans for proposed improvements, preparing an environmental report, conducting subsurface soils exploration with geotechnical evaluation, and design surveying. The consulting firm will also be responsible for preparing construction plans, including structural plans for a pump house, and managing all aspects of project permitting. The awarded contract will have a duration of one year.
