The government authority in Panama City, Florida is seeking a vendor to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for a water treatment plant. The selected firm will evaluate various treatment technologies, assess site conditions, consider environmental constraints, and develop recommendations for both the design and implementation of a new water treatment facility.
Key tasks will include providing preliminary cost estimates, analyzing water quality characteristics and treatment requirements, and compiling and reviewing existing water quality data. The scope also involves identifying and analyzing previous studies and available data, collecting relevant watershed reports, and reviewing the Bay County comprehensive plan as well as zoning information. Additional responsibilities include obtaining and assessing topographic surveys, GIS data, aerial imagery, and analyzing historical water quality records.
Vendors must submit all questions regarding the RFP by April 27, 2026.
