DESCRIPTION


The selected vendor will provide services to develop Water Supply and Strategic Growth Elements to be adopted as chapters of the county’s Comprehensive Plan. Responsibilities include identifying existing water supplies within the county, assessing potential water sources to support future development, and compiling policies and tools that promote water conservation.

The project requires an inclusive public engagement process, ensuring the active participation of all key stakeholders, especially underrepresented voices and individuals affected by high housing costs. The contractor will organize open house meetings, stakeholder sessions, and work sessions with appointed and elected officials to support policy development related to water supply and conservation. County staff will collaborate with the contractor to review and enhance existing water-related policies and strategies.
