DESCRIPTION
The City in California is seeking a qualified vendor for a comprehensive water meter replacement and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system installation project. The selected vendor will be responsible for supplying and installing approximately 22,450 non-mechanical water meters and radio transmitters throughout the City's service area.
In addition to meter installation, the vendor will provide an advanced metering infrastructure software solution and deliver related training services to City staff. The goal of this project is to modernize the City's water meter system, improve operational efficiency, and enhance accuracy in water usage monitoring. Vendors are expected to demonstrate experience with similar large-scale AMI deployments and training programs.
