A government authority in Greensboro, North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) support services for its water supply and wastewater divisions under a master on-call agreement. The scope includes specialty skilled labor for programming, system evaluation, troubleshooting, data report generation, coordination of networked servers and devices, and documentation of water and sewer treatment process controls.
The selected provider will deliver both field and in-house labor services associated with water supply and wastewater SCADA systems. Services include scheduled on-site assignments involving local and remote networked programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human machine interfaces (HMIs), data servers, instrumentation, and other SCADA equipment throughout the contract term.
The vendor must also provide emergency support, including phone response within one hour and on-site response within three hours for critical failures on a 24/7 basis. Additional responsibilities include assisting with approved system additions and changes, updating standards and documentation, training city staff on system changes and troubleshooting, supporting operations staff in SCADA use, and providing a qualified optical fibre technician for network modifications or repairs as needed.
