A government authority located in Tampa, FL is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive mechanical services for a waste energy facility. The contractor will supply a team consisting of one supervisor, one pipe welder, and one pipe fitter on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include performing specialty tasks such as pump removal and installation, grating replacements, conveyor and piping repairs, code piping repairs, and additional work as assigned by the plant.
During facility outages, the contractor's team will focus on code valve and piping repairs and replacements, with the flexibility to increase the number of welders and fitters as needed to complete outage-related tasks. Experience with Victaulic piping and fitting services is required. The contractor may also be called upon to provide after-hours emergency support, with an expectation of arriving within two hours if available. The contract is set for a one-year term. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for February 2, 2026.
