DESCRIPTION

The issuing organization seeks professional consulting services to support education, outreach, engagement, and implementation of waste reduction and diversion initiatives. The selected vendor will develop and implement a bilingual stakeholder outreach and marketing plan for commercial property owners, businesses, property managers, multifamily housing operators, tenants, waste haulers, and other relevant stakeholders.

The work will include communicating ordinance requirements, compliance expectations, implementation timelines, and available incentives through direct mail, digital communications, stakeholder meetings, surveys, and other appropriate methods. The vendor will also develop and distribute bilingual training and education materials, including flyers, posters, recycling-area signage, website resources, and best-practice guidance, as well as conduct on-site workshops and technical assistance to help businesses and multifamily properties understand requirements, design compliant waste areas, and minimize contamination.
