The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), is conducting a market survey to assess the availability and technical capability of small business general contractors for an anticipated Multiple Award General Construction Services Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.
The intended IDIQ contract will provide general construction services across various tasks, such as office construction and renovations, MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) system repairs and replacement, fire sprinkler systems work, exterior construction and sitework (including facade and roof repairs), hazardous material abatement, demolition, and elevator modernization. Projects may be delivered through Design/Bid/Build, Design/Build, Design/Build Bridging, or Construction Manager as Constructor models.
The contract will have a base period of one year, with four additional one-year options, for a potential total duration of five years. The anticipated Maximum Ordering Limit for the contract vehicle is $500 million, with individual task orders expected in the range of $350,000 to $10 million. Multiple contractors will be selected, and task orders will be awarded based on established selection criteria at the ordering level.
