DESCRIPTION

An organization in Indiana is seeking vendors to provide warehouse management systems that facilitate comprehensive inventory management and operational efficiency. The desired system must remove picked inventory from total counts upon shipping confirmation and ensure that item locations within the warehouse are traceable. Item descriptions should be able to link to supporting documentation or visual aids, and the system must support importing of shipping files in Excel format.

The system must be capable of producing manual or custom reports as configured by users, generate pick lists, shipping labels, and quality control check sheets, and alert users to restock needs and impending expirations. A searchable transaction register and compatibility with mobile devices (such as iPads) for scanning and registering picks and receipts are also required.
