DESCRIPTION
The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a Warehouse Management System (WMS) delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The WMS must efficiently manage inventory levels, track supply orders, produce packing lists, track shipments, and support the return of supplies to inventory. It should allow administrators to add and edit product categories, including names and descriptions, providing a modern and flexible platform that can scale with the organization's evolving business needs.
The system must offer mobile accessibility through a dedicated mobile app or a responsive web interface to enable inventory management via tablet and touch screen devices. Real-time inventory visibility, robust administration tools for managing inventory, purchase orders, and packing list templates are essential. The WMS should support kit management, allow printing of barcodes and tags, and include comprehensive dashboards for staff oversight. Additionally, the system must grant admins the ability to add, edit, and view various constituencies within the inventory structure.
