A Maryland agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) support services for its CISCO VOIP solution. The vendor will assist with the configuration and deployment of VOIP systems at the agency’s headquarters and detachment sites. Responsibilities include providing expert guidance on system configuration, network architecture, and the implementation plan, as well as overseeing deployment and ongoing sustainment activities such as routine maintenance and troubleshooting errors or defects.
The contractor will be responsible for the provisioning and configuration of all VOIP-related devices, including phones, headsets, and other necessary equipment. Additionally, the vendor will address any unique network or integration challenges that arise beyond the initial planning phase and ensure that the network is optimized for VOIP traffic. A critical component of these services is the implementation of robust security measures to protect the VOIP system against unauthorized access or disclosure, guaranteeing compliance with all pertinent policies, laws, and regulations. The contract is set for a one-year period, with a site visit scheduled prior to commencement.
