The government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide VNET internet services with dedicated point-to-point fiber optic installation. The requested solution must deliver enterprise-grade Layer-3 service, a dedicated committed information rate (CIR) circuit of either 60 Mbps or 120 Mbps, and public IPv4 /29 handoff, with optional IPv6 support. Design, installation, commissioning, routing setup, testing, and full documentation are required as part of the deliverables. Additional requirements include Layer-3 Ethernet handoff via RJ-45 or LC fiber, routing security, DDoS protection where available, continuous monitoring, and adherence to Embassy site access and installation procedures.
Vendors must provide a dedicated leased line channel and associated circuitry. The contract period is for one year. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 6, 2026, and any questions related to the project must be submitted no later than May 7, 2026.
