The 55th Contracting Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing VMware Cloud Foundations (Product ID VCF–CLD–FND) or an equivalent product. The requirement is in support of a justification for an "Other than full and open competition" procurement, in accordance with FAR 6.103–1.
Interested parties who can offer alternative products meeting the same capabilities and interoperability requirements as VMware Cloud Foundation are invited to submit a capabilities statement with supporting technical data. Responses must clearly demonstrate the ability of the alternative solution to integrate with existing software products. Responses are requested by 11 AM CDT on March 30, 2026. This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes only; it is not a solicitation. If a solicitation is issued in the future, interested parties must respond to that announcement separately.
