Visitor Counting Solution

An organization in the UK is seeking a provider for a scalable and highly accurate visitor counting solution to be deployed across multiple buildings. The desired system must include bi-directional sensors capable of detecting visitor entry and exit with at least 99.95% accuracy. Real-time data collection and comprehensive reporting are required, with the ability to generate metrics such as visitors in, visitors out, cumulative totals, and timestamps. The solution should feature accuracy verification functionality and offer endpoints that support Power over Ethernet (PoE) and optional customer installation.

The system must support multiple buildings and allow the definition of distinct zones, such as rooms or entire buildings, to track visitor movement by area. Grouping sensors by zone or building for administrative purposes and tracking visitors across different spaces is a preferred feature. Monitoring dashboards should provide real-time data with custom reporting periods, including hourly, daily, weekly, and 15-minute intervals for detailed analysis. Role-based access control, with both administrator and user roles, is required, along with dashboard alerts for sensor downtime, network outages, threshold breaches, and any data loss resulting from downtime. The contract is slated for a one-year period.
