Visitor and Business Engagement Service

A consultant is sought to provide visitor and business engagement services in Colorado, with a focus on supporting local businesses and enhancing the tourism experience. Responsibilities include distributing visitor information materials—such as maps, rack cards, and itineraries—at pivotal locations throughout the community, including municipal halls, businesses, and lodging providers. The consultant will participate in marketing efforts to effectively reach visitors and will work closely with event organizers and local businesses to ensure cohesive promotion of the area.

Biannual outreach will be conducted in spring and fall to disseminate tourism updates, share information about key events, and communicate cooperative marketing opportunities. The consultant will facilitate collaborative promotions by assessing business interest, assembling participant lists, and gathering relevant content for campaigns or themed initiatives. Additional duties involve serving on the county-wide calendar work group to coordinate and improve event listings, providing local stories or highlights for marketing use, performing quarterly checks to maintain the quality and relevance of distributed materials, and promoting the business directory while assisting businesses with verifying or updating their profiles through approved town channels.
