DESCRIPTION
The project seeks vendors to provide a modern, enterprise-grade video security system for school campuses in California. Schools will have the option to migrate to this new video security solution, which must be cloud-managed, easy to deploy, simple to manage, highly reliable, and scalable across multiple sites. The system should support centralized administration, allowing designated school staff site-level access while enabling centralized access for broader management functions.
The solution must operate without the need for separate on-premises NVRs, DVRs, or dedicated video management appliances at each site for standard operations. Camera and video requirements include a minimum of 4K resolution, with higher-quality options preferred. Additional requirements cover centralized management and user access, storage and retention, compatibility with existing network infrastructure, physical installation and cabling, browser-based and mobile access, quick provisioning and replacement, and minimal ongoing maintenance needs imposed on school staff.
