SUMMARY

Texas seeks vendors to provide outreach and employment support services for hard-to-serve veterans.

DESCRIPTION

The state of Texas is seeking qualified vendors to deliver Veterans Workforce Outreach Services targeting hard-to-serve veterans. The primary objectives include identifying and engaging veterans who are not currently being served through existing Workforce Solutions Offices, addressing specific barriers to employment, and supporting these veterans in both obtaining and maintaining meaningful employment.

Vendors will be expected to implement a comprehensive outreach and enrollment strategy, conduct thorough intake and assessment—potentially referring participants for additional services when appropriate—and leverage a network of community partners to connect veterans with necessary resources. Additionally, service providers must offer supportive services to help participants achieve their employment goals, as well as provide job development and placement assistance to ensure veterans secure and retain suitable positions.

This opportunity is open to eligible community-based organizations capable of building effective partnerships and delivering targeted employment support services for veterans facing significant obstacles to workforce reintegration.
