The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is seeking qualified sources to sustain and support the Venom software suite and the GARMIN G3000 Integrated Avionics System on F-5N+/F+ aircraft operated by the Navy and Marine Corps. The effort includes providing technical support and ensuring ongoing reliability through a dedicated System Integration Lab (SIL).
Key services involve managing twelve-week software development cycles for feature enhancements, delivering software patches, conducting regression testing, providing Information Assurance support, and facilitating Technical Interchange Meetings. Additional responsibilities include GARMIN database and account management, maintenance and testing of the System Integration Lab, and support for ground and flight test events of software builds.
Due to the proprietary nature of the software and limited data rights, the original equipment manufacturer, L3Harris ForceX Inc., is currently recognized as the sole source; however, NAVAIR is exploring whether alternative vendors are capable of fulfilling these specialized requirements. Interested organizations must demonstrate their capabilities, relevant experience, and company information to be considered as potential sources.
