DESCRIPTION
This RFP seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive vehicle-to-everything (V2X) performance measurement support services. The selected company will be responsible for developing software tools and test methodologies to assess device-to-device interoperability within the NIST V2X hardware testbed. Responsibilities include creating software interfaces for commercial off-the-shelf hardware, configuring and preparing test hardware, and designing as well as executing interoperability tests.
The contractor will manage the complete data lifecycle, including capturing and analyzing performance data from V2X hardware, supporting integration of new devices and sensors, and preparing detailed technical documentation. Engagement with industry stakeholders is essential, including participation in events such as plugfests and conducting literature surveys and outreach efforts to stay informed of current trends in V2X interoperability testing.
