Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The agency is seeking a vendor to provide a vehicle onboard route management system (RMS) designed to support waste collection operations. The system must seamlessly integrate with the agency’s current software applications and enterprise systems to ensure comprehensive data exchange and operational continuity.
Key requirements include automated service verification at the route, driver, and vehicle levels to enable accurate tracking and increased transparency. The RMS must record and store onboard video and photographic evidence, as well as vehicle breadcrumb data and GPS location history for full operational analysis and auditing. Real-time AVL and GPS tracking are required to ensure precise monitoring of vehicle locations and activities.
The solution must offer robust dispatch functions, allowing assignment of collection areas, routes, vehicles, and drivers, and manage service schedule adjustments such as holiday shifts or seasonal changes. Scalable onboard and cloud-based storage for video, photographic, and collection data is essential. The web-based user interface must be secure, browser-accessible, and support mapping technologies for route visualization, GIS integration, and vehicle navigation. The system should utilize a secure data hosting model, whether cloud or hosted infrastructure, and the contract will span three years.
