The province of Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) data system. This system must deliver and manage VIN data on a daily basis to support ongoing vehicle registration processes. Vendors are expected to offer a data service model with customized solutions that align with both business and technical requirements, ensuring reliable delivery of VIN data throughout the year.
The VIN data system should supply a configurable and extendable dataset containing VINs and corresponding vehicle information. It will be used during the initial registration of vehicles to identify and retrieve specific vehicle details, streamlining the population of required information during the registration process. The solution should be adaptable to future needs and able to support modifications as vehicle data requirements evolve.
