The government authority located in Orlando, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide vehicle and bicycle detection systems, including both the supply and installation of the required equipment. The scope includes delivering all necessary supervision, labor, tools, parts, materials, and equipment for installing the detection systems at designated locations.
Key responsibilities involve maintenance of traffic, provision of a traffic control officer, use of arrow board and advance warning arrow panels, as well as site preparation activities such as clearing and grubbing and removal of existing concrete. The contractor will also be responsible for conduit inspection and proofing, installation of pull and splice boxes, loop detector inductive systems (type 1), and both above-ground and cabinet-mounted vehicle detection systems using microwave technology.
Vendors must submit all questions regarding the project by April 17, 2026. The initial contract period will span three years. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2026.
