Key responsibilities include supporting the establishment of vegetable storage facilities at both market and microfinance levels where practical. Vendors will also play a role in strengthening connections with financial service providers that offer tailored savings, credit, and insurance products for stakeholders in the vegetable supply chain.

The selected vendor will be expected to maintain regular data collection and entry to support project monitoring and reporting. Developing and delivering training materials tailored to local languages and literacy levels is essential, as is linking farmers and farmer producer organizations with reliable buyers to ensure consistent vegetable supply. Maintaining thorough databases of all program participants—with demographic details and contact information—and conducting ongoing mentorship through field visits are also required duties. Additionally, vendors will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding vegetable vendors to fulfill district-specific targets.
