DESCRIPTION
The City of Staunton, Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a comprehensive utility rate study on water, wastewater, and solid waste services. The scope of work includes analyzing annual billing system reports detailing charges and revenues, as well as reports identifying the largest water and sewer customers.
The selected vendor will be responsible for recommending baseline rate structures necessary to fund and maintain existing water, wastewater, and solid waste systems, taking into account annual inflationary and indexed adjustments. Alternative rates and fee structures should also be proposed, particularly addressing future capital improvement requirements of the utility systems.
