The selected vendor will provide project management and implementation support services for a utility billing software upgrade involving the NextGen Windows-based platform. Responsibilities include comprehensive project management, supporting implementation activities, assisting with data migration planning, conducting testing, facilitating training, overseeing change management, and providing go-live and post-implementation support.
The implementation requires careful coordination in system configuration, preparation of data, system and user testing, staff training, and ensuring an efficient operational transition while ongoing billing activities continue seamlessly with minimal disruption to customers. The successful provider will deliver dedicated project management leadership, risk identification, issue tracking, mitigation planning, and coordination of go-live and stabilization. Data will be transferred from Neptune NSight to the UB software, Zortec, with the vendor focused on planning and coordination aspects rather than direct technical execution. Utility billing operations remain outside of the ERP, requiring manual submission.
