The City seeks a vendor to provide professional project management and implementation support services for upgrading its existing Local Government utility billing system from the Zortec platform to the Windows-based NextGen platform. The scope includes overseeing project management activities, providing expert implementation support, and ensuring a seamless transition to the new system.
Key responsibilities include data migration planning and coordination (with technical execution performed by others), testing coordination, validation planning, and tracking of issue resolution. The vendor will also be responsible for training planning, scheduling, and coordination, as well as offering change management and organizational readiness support. Additional tasks include go-live planning, transition coordination, and post-implementation stabilization support.
The goal is to facilitate an efficient migration to NextGen while minimizing disruption to the utility billing operations and ensuring end-user readiness through comprehensive training and support.
