The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) to support SOF AT&L's mission of acquiring innovative technologies and agile acquisition solutions. This CSO will remain open for two years and is designed to cover a broad enterprise requirement at the parent level, with subsequent specific calls focusing on prioritized technology interest areas relevant to SOF AT&L current and future operational needs. Interested vendors are invited to respond to individual calls by submitting a white paper or solution brief for consideration.
The program seeks to support special operations forces operating in complex, contested environments, with priorities including information dominance, integrated systems that accelerate decision-making, reduce cognitive load, and provide both lethal and non-lethal capabilities. Solutions must be modular, interoperable, and built on open standards, avoiding proprietary silos and ensuring data portability. Awards through this CSO may include prototyping, concept demonstrations, pilot projects, and agile software development, utilizing modern iterative methodologies and human-centered design.
Emphasis will be placed on open architecture and interoperability, with proposals required to show clear strategies for modularity, scalability, and vendor-neutral integration. Market research and creative development to identify emerging technologies and onboard new partners are also identified areas of interest.
