DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will develop a comprehensive, user-friendly clearinghouse platform aimed at enhancing a support resource hub for evidence-based literacy and mathematics resources. The platform is intended for use by local educational agencies (LEAs) to support the implementation of evidence-based practices that improve literacy and mathematics outcomes.

Key requirements include an intuitive, visually engaging, and accessible interface designed to promote evidence-based decision-making across schools and districts. The platform should provide integrated clearinghouses for both math and literacy, enabling efficient discovery of relevant, high-quality resources. Advanced search capabilities—such as keyword, Boolean, and filter-based search with auto-suggestions—are essential to facilitate resource location.

Additional features must include bookmarking, user feedback mechanisms, and adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards, along with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. The system should be modular and API-ready, supporting future integration and scalability. AI-powered search functionalities, including semantic or natural language processing, are required to enhance query results. Furthermore, AI-driven analytics for identifying content gaps and monitoring user engagement, as well as guided, conversational search interfaces to support less experienced users, are expected. The vendor is responsible for establishing a process to ensure all resources remain current and accessible.
