USAGM Remote Monitoring Services for Cloud-Based Systems

The U.S. Agency of Global Marketing (USAGM) is seeking a contractor to provide remote monitoring services for its cloud-based systems and Remote Monitoring System (RMS) locations globally. This contract covers assistance with software development, server maintenance, system administration, technical support services, and the preparation of documentation. The selected contractor will also be responsible for obtaining necessary cloud services to support USAGM's remote monitoring efforts and coordinating equipment logistics with USAGM points of contact.

Key responsibilities include managing updates required to keep RMS operational on USAGM-provided hardware such as Mac computers and SDR–IQ and Cloud–IQ receivers. The contractor is expected to monitor RMS usage, perform remote diagnostics, and administer the proprietary RMS data server hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring server code and platform compatibility are maintained. The overall goal is to transition USAGM's remote monitoring solution into the cloud, provide reliable system operations and administration support, and eliminate single points of failure to enhance system stability.
