The government authority in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking an urban planning and design consultant to provide professional advisory and implementation support services. The selected consultant will be expected to make recommendations and demonstrate expertise across a range of topics, including urban planning and architecture, infrastructure, public amenities, landscape, lighting, parking and traffic, and zoning compliance and design review.
The consultant will also provide guidance on placemaking and street activation to help support development aligned with the authority’s mission. In addition, the engagement includes supporting and leading various planning initiatives and assisting with implementation of the development plan.
