The government authority in Boulder, Colorado is seeking an innovative and qualified team to provide comprehensive planning and evaluation services for outdoor recreation activities across the municipal park system. The selected vendor will be responsible for evaluating current outdoor recreation offerings, both throughout the park system and within specific zones.
Key responsibilities include developing activity-based service level standards, creating a benchmarking framework for comparing offerings, and conducting GIS mapping of recreation activity locations and service areas. The analysis should cover intensity of use in relation to established service standards, spatial distribution, and equity of available activities.
The scope further involves examining the relationship between park assets and supported activities, and evaluating the effectiveness of the chosen methodology through pilot projects.
