DESCRIPTION
The City of New Brunswick is seeking a consulting firm to provide urban growth strategy services. The selected consultant will develop an urban growth strategy that will support and align other key municipal documents, including the strategic plan, transportation plan, and secondary municipal plans.
The scope involves forecasting the city's population, economic, and land use trends for the next twenty-five years, enabling the assessment of local and city-wide growth scenarios. The consultant will also design and facilitate a comprehensive public consultation and participation program, identifying and engaging target groups to ensure community input throughout the project's development. The contract is anticipated to span two years.
