New York State Office of General Services
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in New York is seeking a vendor to provide services for upgrading food facility systems. The scope of work includes the selection and sizing of refrigerant piping (including liquid, suction, discharge, and hot gas lines), as well as the selection, sizing, and configuration of appropriate condensing units compatible with dethermalizer equipment.
The vendor will be responsible for determining the suitable refrigerant type, calculating operating pressures, establishing an oil management strategy, and identifying system accessories for safe and effective operation. Additionally, the design must cover piping routing, supports, insulation, traps, and slopes, and include verification of system capacity under design ambient and load conditions while accounting for line length, elevation, and pressure drop. The project also calls for fabricating nameplates from resin bonded laminated phenolic plastic, identifying the room and the maintained temperature. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for May 7, 2026.
