The US Army is seeking information from vendors with mature commercial unified communications software platforms. The desired solution must bridge legacy and modern systems into a single integrated voice environment, interoperating across Combat Net Radios, telephony, IP devices, MANET networks, mobile devices, tablets, and legacy radio hardware. The platform should facilitate seamless communication through voice, video, chat, and collaboration tools, supporting real-time team messaging, file sharing, video conferencing, virtual meeting rooms, and advanced analytics and reporting.
The software is required to ingest multicast streams from radio integration devices, operate across various systems in the Army’s tactical portfolio, and be agnostic to current VoIP controllers. It must support scalable deployments, enable creation and management of multiple talk groups and conference groups, facilitate real-time bidirectional voice communication, and integrate with mobile devices for wireless and cellular operation. Licenses should be functional in closed environments without dependency on centralized services. Additional requirements include server recording service, real-time language translation between clients, operation call logs, and a serverless client for multicast or unicast voice communication. The solution must be built using modular, lightweight, cloud-native microservices.
