Maryland is seeking a vendor to provide a subscription-based clinical trials database tailored for oncology research. The solution must offer comprehensive access to global oncology clinical trial data, supporting large-scale analyses of trial design, benchmarks, endpoints, outcomes, enrollment, and other key characteristics across a wide spectrum of studies.
The selected vendor will be responsible for system access provisioning, ongoing technical and end-user support, training resources, product updates, and maintenance according to standard commercial practices. Essential requirements include bulk data download and export capabilities, enabling users to create static data "freezes" for consistent, reproducible longitudinal analyses. Exported data should be available in easily searchable electronic formats, such as Microsoft Excel, to facilitate large-scale analysis.
Additionally, the database must support research publication by permitting the use of summary-level trial data in peer-reviewed scientific journals. It should contain detailed data fields on biomarkers and genomic information, as well as cross-references to original curated source materials, ensuring both depth and traceability of the data.
