DESCRIPTION

The project seeks a vendor to provide a comprehensive tree inventory software platform. The vendor will be responsible for supplying the software, training users, and conducting a full inventory of existing trees across main, north campus, and three off-campus locations. As part of the inventory process, a risk assessment must be performed for each tree. The chosen platform should support the development of a workflow for ongoing tracking and updating of arborist activities.

Additionally, the software must enable updating of the tree inventory with accurate data including numbers, species, sizes, precise locations, current health, and risk assessments. Integrating features such as LiDAR compatibility and the ability to store photographs for each tree inventoried is desired. This initiative is intended as the first step in creating an organized, campus-wide tree tracking system, allowing continuous monitoring and management of urban forest assets.
