The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide as-needed tree and shrub removal and trimming services for the University Region, including the Lansing, Jackson, and Brighton Transportation Service Centers.

Staff performing tree removal must be a Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture
Staff conducting chemical application must be certified in MDARD Commercial Pesticide Applicator Categories 3B and 6
Must provide a list of all equipment to be utilized in Schedule C
Equipment must include a rubber tracked multi-terrain loader with high-flow hydraulic capability and a minimum 60-inch wide mulching head
Must maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate limits
Must maintain Automobile Liability Insurance with $1,000,000 per accident limit
Must maintain Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance
Must be registered with the State of Michigan in SIGMA VSS
Must submit a completed Confidential Treatment Form
Must submit a project work plan for approval by the Program Manager
