The government authority in Dublin, California seeks qualified engineering firms to provide on-call transportation planning and engineering services for a variety of projects over the next three years. The scope includes conducting corridor and area-wide transportation studies, implementing Complete Streets planning, and performing active transportation and safety studies. Services required cover traffic calming evaluation and design concepts, parking studies, curb management strategies, Safe Routes to School evaluations, and preparation or review of traffic impact analyses and technical studies.
Additional tasks involve intersection and corridor operational analysis utilizing industry-standard methods, queueing, delay, and multimodal performance evaluations, as well as recommending signal timing and phasing improvements. Firms are expected to carry out operational reviews of corridors with adaptive signal control, traffic counts including turning movements and multimodal counts, and parking utilization surveys. The selected vendor will assist with project scoping, feasibility evaluation, provide transportation input during planning and design phases, and review plans with technical comments to support project objectives.
