DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to provide professional engineering services for updating its transportation impact fee study. This includes revising land use assumptions and the transportation improvements plan, as mandated by the agency. The project will involve a comprehensive process starting from the study kick-off, encompassing data collection, facilitating public meetings with stakeholders, and continuing through the adoption and implementation of the updated study. The selected vendor will participate in the assessment and proposed collection rate process, as well as in public awareness campaigns related to these updates.

Responsibilities include reviewing existing land use assumptions, impact fee schedules, ordinances, strategic and comprehensive plans, roadway network updates, and semi-annual transportation impact fee reports. The vendor will update all associated documents, guidelines, and tools, including GIS shapefiles. Additionally, the contractor will calculate the maximum assessable full-cost recovery transportation impact fee for a 10-year period in each fee-bearing service area, prepare the 2027 transportation impact fee report, and draft ordinance changes as necessary.

Vendors are required to submit all questions by April 17, 2026. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 14, 2026.
