The government authority in Boston, Massachusetts seeks a vendor to conduct a comprehensive assessment of transportation equity needs and barriers. The selected firm will be responsible for gathering community input on transportation challenges and requirements, with a particular focus on Burdened Areas. Responsibilities include facilitating robust outreach and engagement efforts such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, participation at community events, and other strategies to collect comprehensive feedback.
The vendor will synthesize information collected to identify and prioritize key transportation needs and barriers that should be addressed at the state level. Oversight of the entire assessment process, including communications, will be required. Additionally, the chosen firm will provide an overview of the assessment process, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned, and will develop a data collection strategy to support ongoing engagement efforts.
