The government authority located in Gonzales, Louisiana is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive transition plan services focused on ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance. The selected vendor will oversee all aspects of project management, including self-evaluation, development, and implementation of an ADA Transition Plan. Responsibilities include continuous communication with project stakeholders, conducting an initial project kick-off meeting to set objectives and timelines, and offering regular updates on progress and adjustments.

Key tasks involve developing a community engagement plan and staff training regarding ADA compliance and the effective implementation of the Transition Plan. The vendor will produce a Transition Plan based on the self-evaluation report, policy reviews, staff input, and public feedback, ensuring it meets ADA Title II and Louisiana state requirements. The plan must summarize self-evaluation findings, offer detailed recommendations and methodologies for prioritizing remediation measures, estimate costs for barrier removal, and prioritize remediation based on identified deficiencies.
