DESCRIPTION

The project seeks vendors to provide integrated transit systems and digital signage services for public transportation operations. Required features include a computer-aided dispatching (CAD) system with web or cloud-based capabilities, assignment of buses and drivers to route blocks, and a publicly accessible live map with prediction functionalities. The system must be compatible with mobile apps and websites, offer open API access, and support internal replay mapping with integrated GPS, enabling real-time tracking and automated monitoring of schedules, routes, speed adherence, and alerts. The solution must also deliver stop-level arrival predictions, digital shelter signage with weather-proof LCD displays, prediction feeds, service alerts (push notifications), mass email integration, individual user logins, incident tagging, and custom report building. Compliance with industry standards such as GTFS data files, Title VI reporting, and other transit requirements is necessary.

Bus destination signs should be integrated with internal announcement software, support internal and external displays, allow for cloud-based updates, and work seamlessly with CAD/AVL systems. Additionally, the stop announcement system must provide both audio and readable visual announcements for internal and external stops. The ability to manage users and log incidents is important, along with robust custom reporting tools.

All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by May 11, 2026.
